Over the past ten years my work has been focused on providing sustainable architecture solutions based on passive design concepts and energy efficiency principals, mostly for commercial and residential projects in Colombia.

My job has consisted on developing bespoke building optimisation systems such as solar energy systems, solar water heating systems, solar heating systems and water management and treatment systems.

Most of the projects where I have been involved, have successfully implemented on their architectural designs, passive or active strategies that have significantly helped the buildings reduce the consumption of energy, water and gas from the grid. In addition to this reduction, these projects will be able to decrease carbon footprint through out their life cycle use and more importantly bring down the monthly cost of public services without compromising indoor quality or comfort conditions.

Thanks to taking part on these projects, I have acquired knowledge on designing sustainable “low cost” strategies, experience leading design teams, perspective on how to collaborate with architects and engineers, as well as handling clients needs, managing contractors and suppliers.

All of these skills to deliver timely high quality results.
