“Buildings and construction account for more than 35% of global final energy use and nearly 40% of energy related co2 emissions”

- un environment, global status report 2017-

Conventional buildings are commonly conceived from a perspective of function, budget and architectural language. When these concepts are combined with harmonic proportions and built with proper materials, they aim to create beauty and aesthetics in form.

In many cases, these type of buildings or projects are designed and placed in situ as a single element, sometimes disregarding the surrounding environment and location in terms of climate conditions. This architectural approach tends to build projects that consume a significant amount of energy, gas and water from the grid all year round, in order to provide indoor spaces with ideal comfort conditions.
